Learning to Use the ds9 Imaging System

If you are on this page, you should have:
  • successfully installed ds9 on your computer
If you did not perform this step, go back to the installation page, click on the appropriate link for your operating system, and install ds9.

To start this session you must have:
  • started the ds9 imaging system
  • connected to the Chandra analysis system through the pull down menu of the ds9 window.
If you did not perform these steps, go back to the installation page and perform steps 1b and 1c.

Then return to this page to begin using the Chandra data analysis and software system.
